Urban Review is the CUNY Hunter College Graduate Department of Urban Policy and Planning’s biannual publication.  It is written and published entirely by UPP students.  Each semester, students solicit and review a theme for the issue and written submissions, edit, and design the publication.  As a publication produced by emerging professionals and scholars from within a leading public institution, we aim to honor our department’s commitment to advocacy and a holistic approach to urban issues. Urban Review serves to keep a finger on the pulse of the most contemporary conversations in urban planning and policy by offering fresh and critical perspectives on topics that have captivated those involved, and the community at large.
